What's the highest damage a sword can deal?
I've seen 14-22, but is there anything better? (E.g. 15-22 or 14-23 etc.)
EDIT: I meant: "What is the highest damage discovered on a sword?"

Some claim there are 17-24 fiery swords.

The game's been out for a week..So we really cannot answer this just yet.
A better question would be:
"What is the highest damage discovered on a sword?"
For an answer to that question, I direct you to this topic.

15-22 is the highest, otherwise, PVP characters would be worthless in the long run.

Aren't PvP characters worthless in the long run anyway? They're a quick fix for people who don't want to put in the time to get to level 20. They will always be gimped in terms of power and flexability. For example, if you've never unlocked a rune of superior vigor, then you can have the exact same build as an RP character but still have inferior equipment.

Anything you unlock in RP can be used on a new PvP char, so you could make an even better char than your rp one.

Defeating the point of skill > time. Hooray false advertising?

Not quit, for you have to ues that *skill* to unlock the stuff you need. What do want, them to give PvPers everything from the get go? That would not require any skill at all. In order to be your best you need to play PvE, it will take time, but that makes the replay value go up.
